The Rotarians initiative to promote &good health& within the community by organising a blood pressure testing day on March 1 supported by the Garioch and North Marr Safety Group was regarded as very successful. The Rotary Clubs in the Garioch and North Marr area with the numbers tested are as follows: |
Westhill | 306 | |
Inverurie | 80 | |
Huntly | 184 | |
Alford | 42 | |
TOTAL | 612 |
At each of these testing stations there were a number of persons who had high blood pressure and where it was suggested should visit their own doctor. The consensus view from Rotarians, Doctors and Health professionals and also those who had their blood pressure tested was that This was a very successful initiative. On behalf of the Rotarians in District 1010 my thanks to the Garioch and North Marr Safety Group for their sponsorship of this event. Ron McKailRotary District Governor Rotary District 1010 |
