KEY FINDINGS FROM THE COMMUNITY SAFETY AUDITIn order for the Partnership to identify its three main local community safety problems, a detailed analysis of Community Safety issues within Aberdeenshire was carried out for the financial years 2001 to 2003. The audit examined many key trends including crime, road traffic accidents, fire safety and water safety. |

 Road Traffic Collisions: young drivers 17 to 24 years of age. Within Aberdeenshire, young drivers represent 39% of all fatal collisions, 36% of all serious collisions and 39% of all slight injury collisions. |
